Eric’s been dating Abby for two months and he’s positive she’s ‘the one,’ only he can sense that she’s holding something back. He’s ready to take their relationship to the ‘next level’ but it’s obvious that any change in their relationship is going to scare her away. Fortunately he has his best friend and roommate Jett to console him and share in his frustration.
Jett might not have been the one dating Abby for the past two months but he shares Eric’s feelings for her. Jett and Eric’s relationship is a complicated one – they’re lovers but still enjoy women – and they want one woman who’ll complete their bond. They’ve agreed Abby is the woman for them, but convincing her to give them a chance is going to be more than a little challenging.
Just the thought of Eric uttering the ‘C’ word is enough to give Abby serious thoughts about bolting in the other direction, but it’s her attraction to Jett that pushes her into accepting that she’s simply not meant to be with one man – ever. However, when she goes to break things off with Eric and reveals the reason behind it, namely her attraction to Jett, Eric and Jett reassure her that they’re thrilled she’s attracted to Jett too. It makes the whole threesome thing so much easier to transition into.
Abby’s stunned but relieved by the fact that Eric and Jett are lovers, now she can play with them without there being any worry about future expectations. She never expected them to honestly want to make their ménage permanent. There are reasons behind Abby’s fear of commitment, can she overcome them and embrace a future with the men she’s come to love?
2 HOT 2 HANDLE is more than just a sexy no-holds barred romance, it’s an unexpected life lesson that reminds us that everyone has hang-ups, fears, and mental scars that affect everything we do – especially when it comes to love. At first I thought Abby was nothing more than a selfish, playing the field woman, but by the end of the story I understood her reasoning and was able to empathize with her, but still feared that she’d let her fears ruin a chance at a happily-ever-after. Eric and Jett are wonderfully supportive men who are willing to take Abby any way they can get her, but I really loved how they’re honest about their feelings and are able to explain why they believe that she is so perfect for them. Kelly Jameson packs a whole lot of story into the relatively few pages of 2 HOT 2 HANDLE, but she also doesn’t short the reader on emotional impact – now that’s talent.
