Dulcy Menendez has a major case of lust for her boss Ethan MacMillan. Unfortunately, she doesn’t believe in getting involved with her coworkers, let alone her boss! The closer Dulcy works with Ethan however, the stronger the attraction grows. Dulcy has other concerns on her mind besides her desire for Ethan though. Her stepmother is pressing her for money that Dulcy doesn’t have, plus, she hasn’t had a date in over three months. It seems after her breakup with her ex-fiancé, that Dulcy hasn’t been able to commit, let alone find anyone attractive…except Ethan.

Ethan is going crazy, having to work with the delightful and snappy Dulcy every day of the week. It wouldn’t be so bad if he could just get her out of his system with a weekend of wild sex, but that plan won’t work with Dulcy. Not only is he starting to care about her, but he is also investigating her for embezzlement from MacMillan Boots. Though he can’t really conceive that Dulcy would steal as she just doesn’t have that type of personality, he has to look at the evidence and the evidence says that someone is stealing from the company. The person with the access to the financial information is Dulcy, therefore there is no way that Dulcy could be innocent…is there? Be sure to pick up A CALCULATED SEDUCTION to find out what the truth is behind the embezzlement at MacMillan Boots, and to find out whether Dulcy and Ethan will get a happily-ever-after.

Melissa Schroeder will impress the reader with this compelling romance between two characters who are struggling to come to terms with their attraction to each other. She continues to get better with every story she pens and A CALCULATED SEDUCTION is no different. Not only does her writing style continually improve, but also her characters are likable, believable and just people the reader can relate to. As always, Melissa Schroeder writes a compelling romance by combining lots of outrageous lovemaking with a very passionate and loving relationship that develops between the two protagonists. This is a Melissa Schroeder story that won’t disappoint.
