Jane Stuart lives an average life.  She is working for her uncle's bank in the small town of Kirland, Indiana.  While she was in college, she decided to take a fashion class as an elective.  As part of her class, she wrote a remarkable paper about her grandmother's vintage dress, entitled 'A Dangerous Dress.'  She never expected that this unique and special dress would take her out of Kirland and to places and experiences that people only dream of.

A DANGEROUS DRESS is an incredible story of how a dress impacts a young woman's life.  I felt like the black 1920's dress was a character because it took Jane from a small town to Paris to a movie set, a fashion house and so much more.  Jane reminded me of Bridget Jones but spunkier.  She fell into certain opportunities but she never let anyone change who she was even if she got in trouble.  Her relationship with Josh, the screenwriter, seemed awkward and disjointed at first but I think she needed to go through all her ups and downs before she could be on the same footing as him.  Without the dress and its impact, she would not have grown up and matured.  Even though some of the secondary characters were only briefly mentioned, I am dying to see if Nick and Mary will have their own story.   They have a history together that needs to be told.  A DANGEROUS DRESS will transport you to an amazing world of fashion and adventure that will leave you breathless.
