It has been three years since the world Fatima knew fell apart. Years have gone by, and she feels it may be time to get back into the dating scene. Gathering the help of her best friend Mya, she is lead into the world of the unattached. Fatima believes that she could never find love again, so she instead only searches for a man that can ease her loneliness. Trying many different avenues, she quickly realizes no man in this day and age can live up to the standards she has grown accustomed to. Then she devises a plan, being a writer she decides that if finding a good man isn’t a reality then why not write one.

Auditioning for a position in a script that he is born to play, Rashad Watkins life is about to change. Reading the script he finds that he actually relates to the leading man in this production as if the role was meant for him. In disbelief he is given the opportunity to be with a beautiful woman and get paid for it. Sparks fly from the very beginning and Rashad’s not so sure he is acting anymore but how do you prove that to a woman that has found true love before that it is worth looking for again.

In a book that is sure to please, A HIRE LOVE is a story of redemption and finding out you can go on. Difficult to put down, Candice Dow creates characters that are as easy to relate to. Fatima and Mya are just like any best friends together through the good and bad times. Fatima is a woman who stands her ground and doesn’t compromise her ideals even at such a vulnerable state. Then there is Rashad, a man that may not have it all but makes up for it in spades. Overall this book is definitely one that should make it to shopping carts.
