Ally's love life is complicated. Being the mother of two young children and trying to juggle day to day life sure hasn't made meeting that special someone any easier.

All's ex husband goes through women like he goes through toilet paper. Having that extra handle on life makes it easier for her but now he's met someone special and wants to introduce her, Chantal, to the children.

Now she must do something, her life is boring and day to day just isn't enough anymore. She must do something but will listening to her crazy friend, Mel, make it better or worse? Will a Market Yourself Dating seminar make life easy or just more complicated? Ally decides to jump in head first and oh what a roller coaster ride she will encounter. But all is fair in love and war. Sometimes the harder the will the better the prize. Ally winds up learning more about herself and her kids.

Jayne Buxton's book A LESSON IN DUCK HUNTING is hillarious. It brings real life and smacks you in the face with the reality of it all. From the beginning to the end she will have you laughing out loud and you'll even see a part of yourself. A good read, a good story, a great ending.
