After eight months at sea U.S. Marine Major Kyle Waters wants nothing more than a good night sleep in his own bed secure in the knowledge that he has a solid month of leave time – starting now.  The last thing he expects is to discover the woman he’s dreamed about every night since he first saw her sleeping in his bed.  Unfortunately, he didn’t notice her before drifting off to sleep and engaged in a little more than some touchy-feely action before realizing that it wasn’t a dream.

Olivia Cava hasn’t had time to engage in much romance in her life.  She’s busy building a career for herself and determined not to fall into the role of a military wife.  Olivia grew up being moved from place to place every few years and she loves the stability of having long-term friends and a home.  All her convictions are put to the test however when she sublets a home from a ‘friend,’ only to discover that Rebecca lied about who owns the house where she’s staying– and then Kyle shows up.  It’s a shock to the senses since she’s fantasized about the man ever since she first met him at Cava’s Java months earlier.

As embarrassing and awkward as the late night grope session and reality check turn out to be there’s no denying the attraction between them. Olivia and Kyle manage to come to an agreement where she stays in the house through the rest of her contract.  Of course, Kyle devised the idea because he has an ulterior motive – he wants her.  However, convincing her to give him a chance is going to take some work since she’s determined that their initial sexual encounter should not be repeated.  Fortunately, Kyle’s very good at persuasion.

A MAJOR ATTRACTION is smoldering hot from beginning to end while still containing just the right amount of angst and humor.  With lovable characters, believable storyline, scorching sex scenes (and lots of ‘em), emotional drama, and military men there’s just no way A MAJOR ATTRACTION wasn’t going to warm all my girly parts.  As a military brat myself I could easily empathize with Olivia’s feelings about the military way of life, but was also able to understand Kyle’s appeal and how she’d feel pulled between her love for him and her need for a permanent home.  Marie Harte’s storylines have become a cornerstone of my ‘go to’ library – and this novella is no exception and I’m sure I’ll be adding the rest of this series as well.

A MAJOR ATTRACTION is the first title in Marie Harte’s new GOOD TO GO series.  Be sure to keep an eye out for the other releases:
