When the senior Mr.Granger was convicted of murdering his wife, many of the people that the young Granger brothers thought were their friends abandoned them, but never Shiloh Timmons.  Shiloh is loyal to a fault, so when Caden Granger is given proof of her disloyalty, he chooses to cut her out of his life.

Shiloh Timmons is determined to get on with her life and her new career and put her feelings for former lover Caden Granger where it belongs – in the past.  It would be a lot easier to do that if Caden wouldn't keep popping up wherever she goes,  determined to make her forgive him for his lack of faith.  There are few things more enjoyable than a juicy romance from Brenda Jackson...I love the way her heroes treat their lady loves.  The interactions between the main characters always put a smile on my face and the plot has an equally engrossing who-dun-it regarding the murder of the Granger men's mother.

Once Caden realizes that Shiloh is the woman who holds his heart and that she never betrayed him, he goes out on a no holds barred battle to win back her heart and her trust.  But unbeknownst to Caden, there is a lot more going on than him claiming the woman he never stopped loving.

It is best to read the previous novel in this series, A BROTHER'S HONOUR, first, as there are various spoilers about it in this novel.  I will, without a doubt, have this trilogy in my bookcase because I can't wait to find out what happens next, especially as the youngest Granger brother fancies himself as a God's gift to womankind and has certainly met a woman who is more than his match in wits.
