Amos would love to court Miriam and make her his wife, but can he convince her that he loves her and doesn’t just want to marry her to gain a mother for Mary Ellen?
All four books in the BRIDES OF LANCASTER COUNTY series by Wanda Brunstetter have now been re-released by Barbour Publishing in a new, expanded version as full-length novels. The first of the four, A MERRY HEART, brings readers the story of Miriam Stoltzfus, who is still tragically embittered after seeing the man she loved choose another over her. Miriam must decide whether to remain bitter forever or let the resentment go and allow love a chance to grow in her heart again. Fans of Amish fiction will enjoy reading this first book, and will want to also get the rest as this series continues on with several of A MERRY HEART’s characters.
