A true rocker from birth Rain Meadows knew what she wanted and nothing would get in her way. She knew her place in life, knew what she wanted and was content on living it as she pleased or so she thought.

Then Travis Culpepper enters her life and nothing makes sense or is the same again. A tall sexy cowboy with a deep raspy voice makes her heart melt, her body ache but he leaves her confused and yearning for more. Mutual attraction joins them together in an encounter that leaves Rain wanting Travis even more but can two opposites make it in a whirlwind relationship when they have everything to gain but more to lose.

All it takes is one night, one hot steamy affair and Rain finds herself wanting more. Angry for wanting him, angry for needing him but more angry he doesn’t call. She tries So hard to stay away from him but like magnets they are drawn together, even when circumstances try to pull them apart.

This Quicksilver was cleverly written, short, sweet and to the point. Raine and Travis were both strong characters, each having their own story to tell. Lisa Marie leads the reader on a whirlwind affair filled with many different emotions showing that sometimes things just aren’t the way you believe they are.
