A Taste of Honey
By Chrissy Dionne
Mar 26, 2006 - 11:03:00 AM

Jarod McClure and his brother own ProCare. They've spent five years building up their company. Now that Honey Do has started up in Clement Falls business is slipping, all because they work as professionals and not half dressed.

Honey Sinclair is the owner of Honey Do. She's only been in town and had the business open for two months. While her company provides the same services as ProCare, her employees think nothing of stripping off shirts to let the client ogle them while they do the odd jobs requested.

After too many spiked eggnogs, Jarod left the New Year's Party. Outside he fell face first into one of the X-rated snowwomen. Honey witnessed his drunken fondling of the snowbabe and even gave him points for undoing the bra clasp with one hand. He's so drunk that he falls on his butt in the snow. Before he can attempt to get up, Honey tries to help him but instead gets pulled onto Jarod. Seconds later, they hear "Auld Lang Syne." Even inebriated, Jarod knows that kissing the woman in his arms is the best way to see in the New Year. As much as Honey is enjoying Jarod's attention, she'd prefer to continue their sexual play somewhere warm. She invites him to join her at the Sex Club the following night. She doesn't tell him her name though, only her initial, "H." What will Jarod do when he discovers his mysterious "H" is really Honey Sinclair, his only business competitor?

Jarod and Honey are both genuinely likeable characters. Their attraction to each other is immediate and so very hot. Honey doesn't set out to deceive Jarod. She even feels guilty that he's not aware of her true identity. They're so perfect together, readers will find themselves bouncing in their seats waiting to see if Jarod and Honey can get past the problem of them being business competitors. Michele R. Bardsley has a very heart-touchingly sexy story with A TASTE OF HONEY. It's a wonderful addition to the WHITE HOT HOLIDAYS line.
