Accidental It Girl

Celebrity photographer Sadie Price may not be the most hated person in the entire world, but she believes she comes close. She makes a living chasing the rich and famous, working every angle in order to get that perfect candid shot of a celebrity living the high life. And if he or she just happens to be living that life with someone else, or better yet, engaged in a compromising situation, so much the better. Or so Sadie thinks, until the picture she snaps of Ethan Wyatt signals the beginning of the end of her career.
Ethan isn't your typical hot Hollywood bachelor. He wants to be left alone and keep his private life private, but paparazzi like Sadie won't let him. Well, he figures it's about time someone gave Sadie a taste of her own medicine. In no time at all, Sadie finds herself the center of attention – and a lot of unwanted attention, at that. She begins to learn that maybe, just maybe, being on the cover of every magazine isn't all that's cracked up to be. And as she learns how to cope with fame, she also learns a few things about herself… and about Ethan Wyatt.
ACCIDENTAL IT GIRL is what every chick lit novel should be: funny, emotional and genuinely engaging. Sadie is a heroine any reader will be happy to root for. She's determined and bold, yet insecure in ways that only serve to heighten her charm. She leaps off the page and comes across as a real person, someone we'd all like to know. The secondary characters are just as realistic and well-developed. Ranging from the wild and eccentric Paige, Sadie's mother, to celebrity-worshipper Brooke, Sadie's best friend and roommate, each character adds a different dimension to an already solid novel.
But the heart of this story lies with Ethan Wyatt. He's charming and sincere, a hero in every way. Although the book isn't a romance in the typical sense, sparks fly when Ethan and Sadie are together, and readers will be rooting for them to find their way to one another's arms. Beautifully written, with genuine laugh-out-loud moments and surprising plot twists, ACCDENTAL IT GIRL is one book that's not to be missed.
