In high school, Aidan Morgan and Ethan Ashworth were the best of friends. On graduation day, they admitted that their feelings have grown beyond friendship and discovered a deep love. They began to make plans to get out of the small town in Maine where they lived and start a life together. The next day when Ethan went to see Aidan he found that Aidan had left during the night without so much as a phone call or a note to say goodbye.

Twelve years later Ethan’s heart is still broken. He has managed to survive by burying his feelings deep inside.  Aidan has never even bothered to call and explain why he left. Although still in love, Ethan has tried to move on with his life and accept that he will never see his love again—until the day that his former friend moves back to town.

Aidan returned to the small town of Redemption in part to try to get his love back. He had good reasons for leaving and hopes that Ethan will come to understand and forgive him but first he has to get his beautiful and stubborn friend to listen to what he has to say.

I found Aidan and Ethan’s relationship to be frustrating and painful but also very intense and fulfilling. It’s no secret that people who are in love can often hurt one another deeply. This is true in the case of these two men. Both of them are angry and hurting at first. They must learn to trust one another and in time they are able to help each other heal. Together, Ethan and Aiden learn how to bring love and happiness in to each others lives. SEEKING REDEMPTION: AIDAN AND ETHAN by Cameron Dane takes the reader on an powerful journey of love and yes, redemption
