AIN'T SHE SWEET (GREEN MOUNTAIN #6) takes us to winter and Christmas in Butler, Vermont. Tyler has pined after Charley from afar with no luck in getting a date since she has sworn off relationships for good. When a dare sends Charley tumbling down an icy mountain, Tyler comes to her rescue in more ways than one!

AIN'T SHE SWEET continues the GREEN MOUNTAIN series by one of my favorite authors--Marie Force. We get to catch up with all the Abbotts and their significant others and celebrate with them as they wed, make babies, have parties, and celebrate the holidays. No one is left out, which is very touching. The history of the family is woven throughout the story, and it's nice to pick up where we left off in IT'S ONLY LOVE, BOOK 5.

The family is getting bigger, not only with marriages and births, but also by including the in-laws in the various gatherings. The Abbotts are nothing if not welcoming, which is one of the things that bothers Charley. She feels they are including Tyler in too many family events while also letting him take care of her after she's injured on the mountain. He feels it's all his fault and tenderly cares for her while also healing her heart. It was fun to see Tyler wear down her defenses, but it was heartbreaking to see him be all-in when Charley has set an expiration date to her feelings. Something that happened in her past is holding her back, and Tyler is trying hard to figure out what it is.

There are so many family members as well as friends, laughter, promises, happiness, tears, and secrets. Force vividly describes scenery, includes burn-up-the-sheets moments, and writes a loving romance. The quotes related to risk at the start of each chapter were spot-on. There is a happily ever after that didn't seem like it would come to pass with all the twists and turns and ups and downs to the story. There was nice closure, loose ends tied up and enough hints in the epilogue for what's still to come. I look forward to reading many more books in this series but can't believe I have to wait until next March for the next book, EVERY LITTLE THING. There was a sneak peek of it in the back of the book that only whet my appetite for more!
