ALL IN, THE BOD SQUAD #2 picks up where the first book leaves off and sets off at a nice pace. There are some expected and unexpected twists and turns to the story which is set in Washington, D.C., Virginia, Morocco as well as other exotic locations. Once again the descriptions were vivid and made me feel I was there as my senses were engaged. There are family and friends, secrets, lies, deceit, injuries, jobs to do, happiness, laughter, sadness and tears. We learn more about each of the characters but Bossman isn't front and center as the boss in this book and they seem to flounder at times. They all seem to be harboring secrets that are never fully developed and neither are the characters. There are a lot of holes and loose ends and I didn't get the closure I needed since the book ended very abruptly.
Zackman is a new to me author having only read the first book in this series, GAME ON. I look forward to reading the next book in the series, DOUBLE DOWN, but hope for better closure.
