Liesel has always dreamt of having kids of her own, but never imagined she would inherit four all at once.  And certainly not youngsters so damaged and needy.  As Liesel strives to find balance and to help the children adapt, Chris retreats into denial and distances himself from everyone.  But Liesel’s struggles may be more than she can handle; years of cult indoctrination and lectures have left Sunny in a serious state of culture shock.  The resulting drama unfolds carefully but steadily to the story’s climatic ending.

What an intriguing novel!  I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and can’t get the characters out of my mind since I finished it.  The disparity between Liesel’s and Sunny’s expectations grows from the first, and they struggle to learn to live with each other's weaknesses.  An amazing story of family – what constitutes family, the ties that bind and the loyalties that are tested by family – ALL FALL DOWN should not be missed.
