Mac and Anna both have successful professional jobs, but, have been trying to have it all. Their wish to have a baby has taken both emotional and physical tolls on them. Anna is so desperate to conceive a child she doesn't realize how their marriage is falling apart. Will the stress of infertility destroy their relationship?

The characters in ALMOST PERFECT are some of the best written characters I have ever read. They continue to evolve throughout the story as they learn and grow. ALMOST PERFECT was a rich, thoughtful tale that takes the reader on an emotional journey. Dianne Blacklock has shown a considerable amount of skill within the pages of ALMOST PERFECT. The dialog was witty and soulful. I loved the hint of mystery that caught my attention right from the start. You will continue to think of this book long after you read it. This book gives a lot of opportunity for discussion making it a excellent book club selection.
