Hannah Hailstone is a normal girl living a normal life. She has just one quirk; her hair can predict when something bad is going to happen. Her family thinks she's crazy. However, she's proven right again when a disastrous case of split ends leads to the discovery of an unconscious man in her backseat. After deciding he's not much of a threat she drops him off at the nearest hospital. While checking on him the next day, she stops a second attempt on his life. The two make a break for it, decide to team up, and figure out what's going on.

Cooper can't figure out why suddenly there are goons everywhere intent on killing him. He and Hannah decide to put their heads together to see what's going on when they discover a list of names hidden in Cooper's bag. They're sure this must be what the goons are after. Hannah insists on playing Nancy Drew when she discovers her father's name on the list.

Soon the pair are running every which way when they find themselves pursued on all sides. Bad guys are coming out of the woodwork and Hannah's bad hair day has turned into a bad hair week. This is a book that will keep you glued to your monitor waiting to see what Hannah will get into next. BAD HAIR DAY is a great combination of laughs and suspense. Nancy Darryl has written a superb story. I couldn't hit the page forward button fast enough. I had to know what was going to happen next. Hannah is a remarkable character. She's someone we all want to be. Despite her seemingly endless ability to get in trouble, she's fearless, and knows her way around a fight. Cooper is the bad boy on a Harley that every woman is drawn to even though she knows he's wrong for her. Together they have a relationship that is both passionate and loving. In the end, Nancy Darryl ties everything together into a cohesive whole. BAD HAIR DAY is a must read for those who like their romances with a great suspense and a little bit of quirk.
