Tow truck driver and garage owner Roberta Byrd is married now, but that hasn’t stopped her from getting into trouble. First she gets removed from her friend Mary Lou’s side because she couldn’t handle the pains of childbirth—not that she was the one in labor.

Things only get crazier for the accident prone Bertie, between crazy clients, a terrified employee, and insane relatives, life is never dull in Sweet Meadow. But when the redneck mafia starts terrorizing Linc, her best employee, things have gone too far.

Now Bertie has to survive a visit from her husband’s obnoxious uncle, deal with her insane neighbor’s mother, and try to keep one of the town’s elderly matrons from taking off her clothes and shouting at passing motorists. Do other tow truck drivers have this many problems or is it just her?

Dolores J. Wilson will make you laugh out loud. BARKING GOATS AND THE REDNECK MAFIA is knee slappingly funny and will brighten your day on many different levels. Lucielle Ball would have felt right at home in Sweet Meadow, Georgia and you will too. If you haven’t already read the first book in this world BIG HAIR AND FLYING COWS, grab both books and give yourself a treat, you’ll be glad you did.
