Amy’s daughter thinks she doesn’t know how to have fun.  But being a financial analyst is serious business, especially when it’s what provides a roof over their heads and food on their table.  Of course, Amy thinks her teenage daughter, Tara, spends way too much time on the computer playing a new virtual reality game.  Almost in answer to her daughter’s dare, Amy agrees to play the game.

Using the login name of Earless Erika, she quickly defeats the most dreaded pirate on the sea, Black Corbin.  Really, he is PC Monroe, the game’s inventor.  But the game takes a scary turn, when it appears that someone is out to ruin him.  Erika and Corbin team up to defeat the deadly rival, and find themselves falling in love…so not part of the plan that is Amy’s staid life!

BLOW ME DOWN is light fiction reading at its finest.  Katie MacAlister is well known for her quirky, fun humor, and she does not disappoint with her latest entry.  Written in the first person, this book is a contemporary fantasy that is  an enjoyable, sexy, and delightful read. If you are looking for a wonderfully amusing escape, BLOW ME DOWN will definitely meet that requirement, and then some.
