Fire Chief Andrea "Andi" O'Roarke grew up in an all male household and to top that off they are also all firefighters. Andi's father is a retired fire chief and still very well thought of by all firefighter's, and her brothers are all top firefighter's in Florida as well. Andi is a great fire chief and very well respected by her crew, who all think of her as just one of the guys, which is just how she wants it. Then Tucker Fields walked into her office and for once in her life Andi wanted to be thought of as a woman, at least by Tucker.

Tucker Fields was one of the best Fire Investigators in Florida which is why he was sitting in Andi's office. There seems to be an arsonist going around setting warehouses on fire and it was up to Tucker to find out who it is. While Tucker is listening to Andi talk about the fires the arsonist set he is dreaming about starting a fire of his own with Andi.

Tucker made his feeling very clear from the beginning; he wanted Andi not only in his bed but in his life as well. Andi on the other hand was having some serious doubts about their relationship. She had worked hard to gain her crew's respect and to be treated like an equal, she was afraid if they saw her in a relationship with another fireman they would treat her differently. Andi loved the way that Tucker made her feel, sexy and feminine like a real woman, but what will happen when his job here is done? Will the BODY HEAT between Tucker and Andi fizzle out or will it become a raging inferno?

BODY HEAT is the first book I have ever read by Katherine Garbera but she has definitely got my attention. The relationship between the characters was scorching HOT without taking away from the romance and the story line held my attention all the way through. I will definitely be looking for more titles from Mrs. Garbera and I will be putting BODY HEAT on my night stand for easy access to read again.
