Camille DeAngelis blew it out of the water with Bones and all. Bones and all definitely has a spot on my top 10 list. I've never read anything like it before, and there wasn't a single sentence that didn't hold my attention. Bones and all is absolutely mind blowing.

Maren Yearly is average teenager, just trying to fit in. Maren isn't like your average teenager though, she's far from it. In fact, she's probably as far away as they get. Maren is a Cannibal, and has been for as long as she could remember. Her Mother has always kept her secret hidden, and moved them every time Maren did the "bad" thing. However, when her Mother reaches her breaking point, she leaves Maren the day after her sixteenth birthday with information on her Father and just enough money to get her to her Father. Maren sets out to find her Father. She meets some pretty remarkable people along the way, even some like her, who teach her some valuable life lessons. One person in particularly is Sully, who happens to be an eater as well. He wanders from place to place always alone, because he doesn't believe in having friends. Sully takes a liking to Maren and offers to let her go along with him. Maren declines, and she doesn't think twice when Sully seems to show up where she is. He's friendly enough. Maren takes comfort in being around Sully, but when she shows up at his place, unexpected, she discovers Sully has some secrets of his own.

Bones and all is a fascinating story about one very different young girl's transition into adult hood. CamilleDeAngelis takes you on a journey page after page after page. Bones and all is an amazing horror story with a dash of sexuality and a whole lot of self exploration. Bones and all will have you reading chapter after chapter non-stop, and when it's through, you'll be left wanting more.
