Ben Travis has had enough, he understood his wife's need to prove to her family that she could make it on her own, well, she has proven it to them alright, at the expense of her marriage. Ben's mother always told him the marriage was a big mistake, Paige was from a different class then he was, maybe he should have listened. When Ben told Paige he was leaving, that their marriage needed a time-out, she didn't even try to stop him.

Paige was so close to reaching her goal to be made a partner in the law firm she worked at, but at what price and was it all worth it? Paige was a woman who wanted it all, and that included her husband back, the only question was how to get him back? With a little help from her manicurist Paige formed a plan to drive Ben so crazy he would not be able to live without her. The only problem with her plan was when she asked Ben to spend the weekend at her Grandma's cabin in the woods, Ben said no.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, Paige just called Ben and told him her car would not start and she was stranded. always the gentleman Ben knew he had to go and make sure her car was alright, even though he figured she was bluffing. Ben was determined not to stay, until he took one look at Paige and his hormones kicked in. Could he really walk away from the only woman he has ever loved without giving their marriage one last chance? Paige didn't know if one weekend was going to be enough time to save her marriage and prove to Ben that he came first in her life, but she was determined to try. So with a little help from Power Woman magazine, the sexy lingerie store, and the local video store Paige set out to give Ben a weekend so unforgettable he would not be able to live without her.

CABIN FEVER will heat up the room as Ben and Paige rediscover their love for each other and learn a few new thing in the process. As Paige and Ben heat up the pages, it left me thinking maybe I need a subscription to Power Woman magazine. Vanessa Hart has done a remarkable job in creating a truly hot read that left me breathless.
