Adam Holderman isnt your typical college boy. Hes more refined then most guys his own age and despises anything gothic. He especially hates the horrible lack of proper vocabulary amongst his peers. He's not really uptight just has higher standards then so many people he knows.

From the moment Adam meets Buzz he can't help but admire Buzz’s sexy physique, but the goth appearance and "dude"ing are an issue.  Adam's expectations of what he wants in his friends or lovers is more refined.  Buzz proves to be impossible to not befriend, but Adam fights his ever growing attraction with a vengeance. Buzz has no trouble admitting to being attracted to Adam. In fact, he asks him out every single day once he determines that Adam is gay. Of course, Adam turns him day every single day but Buzz is persistent and never gives up. With summer coming to an end, Adam realizes that he’ll miss hanging out with Buzz once their summer jobs are over and finally says yes. Can there possibly be any hope for a real connection between such completely opposite people?

Ally Blue has always written sexy tales that I find irresistible to put down - CATCHING A BUZZ is no exception! Buzz and Adam are so very different that it’s hard to imagine them even being friends but as you read you’ll be able to see just why their ‘relationship’ works. Their personalities compliment each other beautifully and once they do hook up -oh my! There’s no shortage of steamy material to give you a good reason to seek out a water park to cool off while scouting for potential partners. There's a fascinating gadget mentioned that will having you viewing ipods with a look of wonder and awe and maybe even looking online to see if such a contraption exists. While this story isn't very long, the plot is fun-filled but also contains some more serious issues such as bigotry and Adam's fear of 'coming out' to his mother. Once again, beautifully done Ms. Blue! I loved it!
