Ross is new in town, thanks to a new job he’s due to start on Monday. He’d just finished MIT training, and he was going to be taking over as manager of the theater Cecile worked at. He looks like a typical biker, right down to the tattoo and leather jacket. Looks can be deceiving.
Cecile had ignored anything to do with her looks since her broken engagement. Taking a rare Friday and Saturday night off from work, she decides to doll herself up and find herself a man for the night. She ended up at McGee’s Bar and Grill drinking a slow gin fizz and had just about given up on the man-hunt when Ross walks in and orders a beer. Cecile was definitely interested in this piece of eye candy. They ended up playing pool. The first game they played for drinks, the second was for one night of sex. It was supposed to be uncomplicated. Who would have guessed that they would meet again?
CELLULOID FANTASY is thrilling right from the first page. I adored Cecile’s love ‘em and leave ‘em attitude. It’s so easy to understand her depression and lack of caring about her appearance. When she forces herself out of her house to go man hunting though, she does it with style. Ross is definitely yummy! He has that perfect blend of cocky manliness combined with the ability to make a woman feel comfortable with him. Never mind a butt that won’t quit. I even thoroughly enjoyed reading about all the work that goes into running a movie theater. I never would have guessed what went on there after hours.
