Rick Lowery’s stunned to see Lindy at the club. He’d been attracted to her during the negotiations for his company to market the software she helped develop. At the time acting on his desire would have been unethical, but now that the business part of their association is settled he’s ready to find out just how compatible they could be together.
Lindy’s convinced that the only reason anyone at the club would notice her is because of the magical properties of the amulet. There’s been a few glances her way but no one has approached her. She’s uncomfortable and ready to leave the club but can’t find her friend to let her know she’s leaving. While searching for Bethany she nearly collides with Rick. He’s not falling at her feet in worship of her beauty so maybe the little bauble isn’t magical after all, but after a few minutes of conversation it’s obvious that he’s interested in far more than her mind. She only has until midnight before the spell cast by the amulet wears off so she’s determined to savor this time with Rick. Only it’s not just Rick with whom she’ll be spending time - Rick’s friend, Kyle, arrives and accepts their invitation to join them - in more ways than one. Is the charm truly the reason for Rick and Kyle’s interest in her? Submitting to Rick and Kyle fulfills Lindy’s fantasies but can she live with the knowledge that it’s not really her who’s captured their attention, it’s an enchantment.
In less than fifty pages CHARMING THE MASTERS successfully drew me into Lindy, Rick and Kyle’s tale and held my attention through to the end. They’re all struggling with their own worries and insecurities which endear them to readers while their sexual escapades heat up the pages. Katherine Kingston satisfies readers’ desires for that little something extra in a shorter storyline and leaves you wanting more. Hopefully there will be a follow up story to CHARMING THE MASTERS because I’d love to know what happens after this one ends.
