Gaby Montgomery loves her job as a designer of sexual aids for Fancy Free.  Unfortunately she also believes herself to be in love with Marc, the co-worker who helps her test out her products.  She knows there’s no future for them so it’s time to break things off but that leaves her without a man to help her test her newest products.  Fortunately her roommates, Liam and Fletch, are more than willing to sacrifice themselves in the name of research.

Both Liam Richardson and Fletch Darcy desperately want Gaby and since they couldn’t agree on which one of them should date her it’s decided that they should share.  They’d already been planning to seduce her when they learned that she’s broken things off with Marc.  Their timing couldn’t be more perfect and Gaby eagerly agrees to their proposition – all in the name of research of course.

While Gaby may not want to admit it she’s in love with Liam and Fletch and that’s what makes the testing of the prototypes so satisfyingly fun but for Fletch there’s an additional agenda, you see, he wants Liam as his lover as well as Gaby.  There’s no denying the sexual chemistry between Gaby, Liam and Fletch is off the charts and as long as their relationship is kept private it’s everything they could have ever hoped for.  The trouble is that eventually the outside world intrudes and threatens their happiness.  With narrow-minded people and an accusation against one of the men dogging their steps and threatening their livelihoods the stress could rip their newfound love and friendship apart.  Can Gaby, Liam and Fletch find a way to rise above the backlash from the community and save the relationship they’ve come to treasure?

Shelley Munro’s CHRISTMAS IS COMING makes kissing under the mistletoe seem positively tame.  I love Gaby’s obvious enjoyment in creating new and exciting sexual toys and condoms and the pride she seems to take in her achievements.  At the same time my heart broke for her because some of her family doesn’t approve and that hurts her more than she lets on.  Liam and Fletch’s approval of her talents proves to be just what she needs and you have to love them for that simple fact alone.  While this story could have been all sex and fluff and still been a fun read Ms. Munro gives the reader something to think about when Gaby, Liam and Fletch’s relationship is exposed and they become the victims of bigotry.  It really bothered me that something so beautiful, open and loving could be threatened by such hatred.  Now that being said, I found CHRISTMAS IS COMING to be a beautiful story full of all the passion and fun surprises I’ve come to appreciate in Ms. Munro’s stories.
