Christie Pratchett has had her life turned upside down by a relentless stalker. His actions have turned her into a recluse and a prisoner in her own home. With nothing else to loose, Christie makes one last desperate phone call for help. Not only does the call bring salvation, but it brings its own form of trouble for Christie, in the shape of Boone Ferguson. He’s a mystery man; sworn to protect her and he’s determined to track down her stalker. Keeping Christie safe has suddenly become his top priority; but Boone thinks the safest place for Christie is in bed—with him.

CLOSER is a great thriller that constantly keeps the reader guessing. Mystery abounds in not only the stalker storyline, but in the secrets that surround Boone. His mysterious past and his friendship with Christie’s brother not only intrigue our heroine, but the reader also. In Boone, Ms Leigh has crafted one of those amazing heroes that the reader just yearns to be swept away by. His strength of character is deftly transferred onto paper and a great demonstration of Ms Leigh’s talent.

For those of you who are already fans of Ms. Leigh, I can assure you that CLOSER will not disappoint. It delivers heart stopping moments of tension and delightful pages of passion. The chemistry between the two main characters is sensual and the plot is intriguing. For those of you new to Jo Leigh, this is an excellent place to start. CLOSER is a sexy read accompanied by a great mystery. What more could a reader ask for?
