If there is one thing Claire O’Malley cannot resist, it is a dare.  So when she decided to go undercover to investigate the enforcement of the “no sex” rule at Companionship Inc., her friends couldn’t resist daring her into another bet.  Claire has to seduce her first client into having sex with her.  When she first meets Walleye Joe Holek and feels the instant attraction, she is sure that she is going to win this bet easily.

Walleye Joe doesn’t really need an escort for the conference and had every intention of turning her away.  But when the fiery redhead refuses to leave, he agrees to let her do her job.  And boy is he glad since the sexual tension between them ignites in the elevator and has Claire all over him like a second skin.

Claire’s day job as a reporter for the Dallas Press has her in a bit of danger, thanks to her investigation on the fishing commissioner.  Big danger, that lands her right into the safety of Joe’s arms.  Can Joe keep Claire safe?  Will Claire win the bet she made with her friends?

What a great end to a series that I really enjoyed.  Once again, I was pulled into the book until the very last page.  This is my absolute favorite out of the three books in the Companionship Inc. line.  Ms. Veers has become a favorite of mine and I’m very excited to read her next series, Virtual Fantasy, Inc.

NOTE: This title is now available with the rest of the COMPANIONSHIP, INC series in the print title COMPANIONSHIP, INC., THE TRILOGY
