That is when the addiction started for Brenda. Wild, sexy women did not wear white cotton panties and discount store bras; they wore sexy lingerie from exclusive lingerie shops. It became an obsession for Brenda the more down she felt, the more lingerie she bought.
When Brenda's brother David moved back home from Chicago, while getting a very nasty divorce, he brings a friend with him, Jerry Murphy. Jerry was not only gorgeous but he had a great butt. When Jerry asked Brenda to go sailing on her dad's boat with him she thought everything was going great. Then Brenda and David show up at her mom's house early; just as Jerry is walking out of their mom's room, wearing nothing but red bikini briefs. An hour later David was moving in with Brenda and her roommate. Needing time to herself Brenda heads downtown, as she is crossing the street she is nearly run over by a red convertible driven by her mystery man from New Years Eve.
When Nick and Brenda decide to have a cup of coffee together and then a little romance out on her dad's boat they get interrupted by her brother. When Nick leaves he tells her to call him, only he didn't leave his number or his last name. On her way to work Monday morning Brenda's luck changed. She turned on her car radio to their rival radio station KBZ. When the DJ came on the air it was Nick Jordan, Brenda's mystery man, and he was announcing on air that he wanted Brenda to call him. As Brenda listened to Nick on the radio she came up with a brilliant plan. When Brenda got to work she went on the air and announced that she was Brenda, and that began the on-air battle between Nick and Brenda.
CONFESSIONS OF A LINGERIE ADDICT is a truly addicting book; I could not put it down. It has humor, romance, and scenes so HOT that I had to turn on the air conditioner. Jennifer Ashley has once again demonstrated her incredibly writing talent with a story that I will enjoy reading many more times.
