Convincing Cate

Vince has lusted after Cate from afar for months now. He's her waiter in the restaurant where she entertains her clients. He's sure that she'd never look twice at him, but he still fantasizes about her. When Cate gets smashed one night, Vince saves her from making a horrible mistake by escorting her home where he leaves her to sober up. Vince may work as a waiter in a restaurant, but what he really wants to do is show his paintings in a gallery. If he could just be the man Cate wants, his life would be complete. Unfortunately, she's fighting him tooth and nail due to their age difference.

Cate works her butt off at work, and never seems to get any kudos for it. When she arrives at the restaurant to meet clients, who never show, Cate is furious. Downing a couple drinks doesn't seem like such a bad idea. That is, until she wakes up the next morning with barely any memory of what occurred. When she realizes it was Vince, her waiter, who rescued her from herself, she is terribly embarrassed. Embarrassment isn't all Cate is feeling though. She finds herself incredibly attracted to this guy ten years her junior. She's all for no-strings attached sex, but a relationship?

CONVINCING CATE by Jamie Hill is exquisite. This is the most heart-felt romance I have read this year. I was astounded by how mature Vince was for his age. Most men his age are just looking for sex with anything that moves, definitely not an actual committed relationship. Cate is so darn stubborn! I wanted to ring her neck for pushing Vince away. In my opinion, he's the best thing that's ever happened to her. The romance and passion in this story really made me believe in true love. The sex scenes are going to knock your socks off. These are some of the steamiest I have ever read. Jamie Hill is a very talented author and has fast become one of my all time favorites. I am never bored with one of her stories, nor do I ever have that niggling feeling of having read something just like this one. Each story from her leaves me feeling completely fulfilled and eager to find another!
