Jeanie Callahan is a Coupon Girl. She sells coupons to local businesses for LotsaCoups.  She wants to try something different, so she decides to audition for her town's local production of The Sound of Music.  Now she finds herself running around town looking for new clients, keeping her grandfather from hurting himself in his latest project, dating the director while lusting after a potential client, all the while trying to survive until opening night.  What's a girl to do?

COUPON GIRL is a fun and wacky look at balancing work, life outside work and how they intertwine.  Jeanie is a thirty-six year old woman who is trying to juggle her job and personal life with amusing results.  I loved her go-get-them attitude and her ability to handle whatever is thrown her way by her grandfather and her interesting mix of friends and clients.  The secondary characters complement Jeanie so perfectly.  Each of them is funny with a zest for life but when the going gets tough, Jeanie is always there for them.  The best part of the book was the coupon sale to the aspiring owners and her secret crush, and her pursuit of the big client.  It was priceless.  All this is happening against the backdrop of a local play which is its own drama.  COUPON GIRL will have you chuckling all the way to opening night.
