Her landlord, Ben Hart, may conjure up erotic fantasies by day, but his proposal for marriage was the last thing Sunny expected to hear. He only wanted to do a good deed, to offer his insurance plan to her, but the fact that Sunny thinks he’s gay presents a problem for her dormant sex life.
Willing to do whatever necessary for her child, Sunny accepts the proposal, but her problems are only starting. Sunny’s plans for a normal life flies out the window, giving her plenty twists and turns along the way. Can she really stay married to a man that she thinks is gay but feels strongly attracted to?
COVER ME is a modern take on marriage of convenience. I found myself sympathizing with the characters and their problems as plot twist after plot twist came about. Written in the first person, Sunny’s perspective of her world engages the reader from beginning to end.
Ms. Nelson’s unique voice and characterization shines through giving the readers a very enjoyable story. I suggest adding COVER ME to your reading list today!
