A Cowboy For Christmas - A Copper Mountain Christmas Story
By Chris Mead
Nov 22, 2013 - 4:30:00 PM
Widower Carson Scott and his brothers have a tradition of meeting up each Wednesday night for dinner at the Marietta diner. Entering the diner at their usual time, Carson’s brother points out a familiar looking woman waiting on tables. Carson is shocked to come face-to-face with Annie Prudhomme, whom he hasn’t seen in years.
Carson and Annie used to be an item before Annie grew tired of small town living and left Marietta, Montana, for life in the big city. As Carson and Annie catch up on each other’s lives, it becomes apparent that there are still some sparks between them. However, Carson knows one thing for sure; Annie is not to be counted on to stay in town.
Annie feels like a failure because her marriage didn’t work out and now she is financially broke to go along with it. She thought that she would never return home, but has realized that there is nowhere else that she would rather be. As Christmas quickly approaches, Annie and Carson get snowed in together. In addition, as they decorate Annie’s home, they fall into a warm embrace. Will Annie and Carson discover their love for each other once again this holiday season?
Annie proves to be a strong and resourceful character. She always thought that she wasn’t very good with children, but when she meets Carson’s son Evan, she is taken with him and surprisingly does very well with him.
Carson completely captivated me. That he puts his son above all else makes him an endearing character. It takes a lot of courage for Carson to give Annie another chance at love. Watching this couple become a happy family for the holidays was beautiful.
If you’re looking to warm up your holiday season with a charming, sexy story, A COWBOY FOR CHRISTMAS matches that craving. Katherine Garbera has penned the perfect romance, with endearing characters, a rich and entertaining plot and the ideal winter backdrop. Treat yourself with a holiday treat today!
