All Lang Thompson wanted to do was to buy a farm to breed horses. The ranch, that he was interested in, had just been sold to an upscale, rich girl. Lang had a nasty experience in his recent past with a high society woman who took him to the cleaners, so he definitely wasn’t ready to interlock with another one. Nevertheless, because he had damaged Victoria's barn door, Lang promised to repair it and then later on, help out around the ranch until her grand opening. Lang continuously told himself that it had nothing to do with
Victoria’s alluring charm.
I must admit that I am a sucker for cowboys so, whenever I can get my hands on a good cowboy story I am in seventh heaven. As you can imagine, I was so excited to read COWBOY FOR HIRE by Isabella Drake. And, I am proud to say that, I was not disappointed one bit. Lang was all man, and a true cowboy to his heart, with an alpha-type personality.
Victoria was no pushover, and she stubbornly stood her ground whenever it came to something that she strongly believed. Although, the attraction was an instant thing that sparked between Lang and Victoria, neither one of them acted upon that desire. Their passionate affair blossomed over a period of time and once the couple united in a sexual manner, it was a sweet, passionate and oh, so lustful event. Overall, Ms. Drake did an excellent job with COWBOY FOR HIRE.
