Candice ‘Candy’ Stevenson is determined to toss all her inhibitions and the constrictions of her upper class upbringing aside and let loose for one night of wild sex.   Her disastrous marriage taught her that independence is the only way to go and thanks to a hefty divorce settlement and sound investing money isn’t a concern.  Following her heart and sound advice from her best friend Sue, Candy, as she’s now called, heads West where she’s taking part in a charity auction with a naughty twist.

Adam Richardson and Bryan Raman are co-owners of the Double R, a cattle ranch in a remote area of Montana.  They often go long periods of time without a woman but the charity auction sponsored by a swing club provides them with the opportunity to support the troops and spend the evening attempting to seduce the woman whose basket they win.

Instinctively Adam and Bryan know that Candy is the woman they want to spend the evening with – especially after her naughty pole dance which she seems to perform exclusively for them.  Afterwards, Adam confronts her at her table and the coil of lust that consumes her is almost too much to bear yet she’s not ready to admit to such strong desire either.  When Bryan joins them all her fantasies seem to be just within her reach… if only they win the bid on basket number seven.

After winning their bid, Adam and Bryan set about ensuring that Candy is comfortable with them and they get to know each other while devouring the basket meal she created.  The rest of the evening is spent proving to her that they are ready, willing and able to satisfy her every sexual desire – as well as a few she probably hasn’t thought of yet.  To fully explore her fantasies though they need more time and ask her to return to their ranch with them.  What transpires are long winter days and nights full of satisfying work, sinfully delightful sexual experiences and the beginning of a sense of belonging for Candy.  The trouble is, her stay is only temporary and hoping to live out her fantasy forever is unrealistic, isn’t it?

COWBOY SANDWICH captured my attention because of its title and held me captivated through the entire book.  Candy’s decision to go after her dreams and desires despite her painful divorce or uptight upbringing really endears her to the reader.  Adam and Bryan naturally nurture her adventurous friendly nature which just makes them more loveable.  Reece Butler incorporates plenty of fun scenes and other irresistible characters into the storyline so you’re never quite sure what will happen next or who will be involved but you’ll certainly come to care about Candy, Adam and Bryan and their happiness.  I’ll certainly be on the lookout for the sequel to COWBOY SANDWICH in the near future – I can’t wait to find out what happens after this story ends.
