MEANT TO BE is a fun, romantic romp, a delicious example of what a good romance should be. Denise A. Agnew mixes love and friendship to create a story that will leave the reader smiling. I think that one of the features of a good book is that the reader enjoys the actual act of reading it as well as the ending. This book was a genuinely enjoyable read.
Courtney and Morgan are a delight as they fall in love. These two characters have flaws and at times, are uncertain of their own worth making them very realistic. A thread of humor runs throughout the plot, making the characters even more likable for their misadventures. I will admit thinking more than once, that Courtney must be my long lost twin when it comes to luck. Secondary characters add humor and conflict to the storyline. The setting is wonderful and the plot line is intriguing with scenes that flow together seamlessly. If you are looking for a feel-good romance, MEANT TO BE is for you.
