At his famous annual barbecue, Clint Brody zero’s in on Krista the moment she arrived at his ranch. It takes him a little while to circle the crowd trying to get to her. When the opportunity presented itself he not only gets the chance to meet Krista, but he also convinces her that instead of wiping at the drink that had just spilled on her clothes, it would be best to have a shower to be truly clean – with him.

As the name implies DOWN AND DIRTY gets right down to business literally from about five pages in and never stops. A fast paced book, fraught with unexpected emotion, soul searching and divine destiny.

Krista, new to the area by about six months, isn’t all that thrilled to be at a party where she knows almost no one, when she sees her fantasy man standing in front of her with lust in his eyes – who’s she to deny the man what he wants, when that’s her fantasy as well.

After playing the field for so long, Clint is not only surprised at the possessiveness which he feels for Krista, but also at a lose for the first time at how to deal with this surprising emotion.

Ms. Holt is onto something special with DOWN AND DIRTY, there are enough loose ends for us to see future books with character's we meet in DOWN AND DIRTY, also she leaves us with just enough for our imagination to take it as far as we want it to go.
