With her self-esteem torn to shreds, Lyssa Markham allows her best friend to talk her into attending a private, invitation only sex party. She's shocked then intrigued to discover all the invitees are members of an exclusive sex club or their approved guests. Dressed as Salome, Lyssa allows herself to be taunted into performing the dance of the seven veils, ending draped across the lap of a man dressed as a roman gladiator. After her first climax in years, Lyssa runs away into the night, shocked by her own behavior.

Days later, Lyssa discovers that her ex is copping out on his responsibilities as outlined in their divorce settlement. Unable to reach him, she goes storming to his lawyers' offices. There she comes face to face with her gladiator, Robert Savidge. He's determined to learn more about the woman who seduced him at his father's party.

DANCE OF THE SEVEN VEILS is an intriguing exploration of a woman rediscovering her sensuality and her power as a female. This is the story about a real woman with normal everyday problems. I could easily relate to Lyssa's problems with her ex-husband, her insecurities, and her intrigue with Robert. This book is a real world adventure that seems very real as if you're hearing a good friend tell you about how she met the love of her life. The characters are intriguing, including the secondary ones, and I can't wait to see how Ms. Anson continues this series.
