Sarah wants nothing more than love, but her mother’s scandalous reputation has caused every man in her small town to think she is cut from the same cloth and to treat her poorly as a result. The one man who could best fill the position of her boyfriend - and also the one she desires most for the slot - is the very one who cannot possibly fill it: Jason, the father of the child she cares for and her employer. When she turns to someone different, only to experience a nightmare, she believes herself even further from love.
Driven, Jason wants nothing more than to create a good life for his daughter. Having been previously sought by his dates solely for his large bank account he has sworn off women, untrusting of their motives. Still, though, he cannot help but find his nanny amazingly attractive, and her affection for his daughter what he’s always dreamed to provide his child.
Cox’s book was extremely engaging, and this reader couldn’t help but feel her heart strings pull at the sweet affection between nanny and charge. Jason and Sarah are so perfectly aligned that you’ll hope from page one that they reveal their true feelings, so you can revel in their bliss. The twist at the end will keep you on the edge of your seat and make it impossible to put the book down. DARING TO DREAM was a great read, showing that daydreams are not, always, too far from what reality holds in the future.
