Billie Cartwright has dealt with tragedy and disappointment all of her life.  Her one hope is that she can change her sister Felicity’s ways and make her an independent person.  Things go from bad to worse when their aunt Wilhelmina dies and leaves them her estate.  What comes with it is an ancient curse and an evil demon that is slowly taking over Felicity.  Can Billie save her sister before it’s too late?

Grant Jorgensen is the attorney who is handling Wilhelmina’s estate and from the moment he meets Billie feels an instant spark of attraction he can’t resist.  When her grandmother is murdered and her sister Felicity is blamed, she tells him a tale of curses and demons he finds hard to believe, but feels that she is telling him the truth.  Can they save her sister and get rid of the demon before it destroys everyone who came into contact with it?

I loved DEADLY SINS: SLOTH and couldn’t put it down until I finished it.  Billie is the levelheaded heroine who is always thinking about the future, and then she meets Grant and can’t help wanting him.  Grant is intelligent and witty and totally puts his faith in Billie even though her story is a little hard to swallow.  The passion between them is intense and very steamy.  The plot will have you on the edge of your seat and eagerly turning the pages to see what will happen next.  Eve Vaughn has made a name for herself with her talented writing skills and inventive characters.  This book is a must have for her fans and a great starter for those who aren’t.
