Madalyn Simon just wants to get away from everything that is Hollywood and the only way to do that is get as far away as possible.  Alaska seems the perfect place to go with her sister and start a new life.  Madalyn never thinks that they will be abducted by a race of people that shouldn’t even exist anymore.  Will Madalyn find herself wanting to stay with the man that has claimed her for his own?

Otar and his people have kept themselves hidden from the outside world and when he and his men come across Madalyn and her sister they see a way to help expand the clan and find mates for the males.  Otar knows that if he doesn’t claim Madalyn, then some other male will buy her as a mate.  Otar will take her as his wife, but can he get her to accept her new home and husband?

DEEP DARK AND DANGEROUS is a great tale and has very unusual aspects.  It is easy to believe that there could be a race of people hidden from us in the Alaskan landscape.  Madalyn is a fighter and a great heroine.  Otar is commanding and has a very dominant personality.  The couple clashes from the beginning and it’s easy to see they will make an explosive pair.  The love scenes are steamy with plenty of action to keep the reader glued to the pages.  Jaid Black has made a name for herself as one of the top authors today and reading this book it is easy to see why.
