Alisa is digging in her back yard to make a garden when she uncovers some bones. Not knowing if they were human or not she alls the only person she knows that will get the job done fast and done right, Zach Bradford. Zach is an archaeologist and a fine one at that. The only problem is that she has been avoiding Zach for two years now. Alisa and Zach went to the same college and Alisa has been in love with him since she first met him. But something bad happened to her that made her turn away from that love and become a recluse. Now needing Zach’s help had brought back the memories, good and bad. The good ones are the ones that keep her awake at night. She dreams of Zach and the steamy sex that they could have had. Alisa is so hot for Zach that she is willing to take that chance and go of it. Can Alisa go ahead with her plans for her life? Could she get over the trauma that has been haunting her for two years and go after what will make her happy?

Zach has been in love with Alisa for three years and he wants her so much. He gets hard just seeing her and her perfume drives him crazy. When Alisa stopped seeing him and took off he was devastated. His love for her was so strong that he sent her cards, flowers and small mementos. When Alisa called him asking for his help he could not resist. But seeing her again has made it harder for him to resist her. Zach wanted to know why Alisa left, but was willing to wait for her to come to him. But seeing her everyday was getting to him and to her. Was now the time for them to try to salvage what is left, if there is anything left, between them?

DIGGIN’ UP BONES by Michelle Houston is a very intense read. It will have you fanning yourself. Zach and Alisa are so in love but a tragic past keeps Alisa from moving on with her life. You will keep turning pages to find out what is going to happen with this couple. Ms Houston, thank you for a great book and you have made a fan out of me. I look forward to reading more of your books in the future.
