Annie Long's idea for a video game comes from the last cowardly heartthrob who dumped her by sending her a video. Her mission is to create the perfect man on video. "Joe Video" is the perfect interactive man that will drive women wild according to Annie. He is sexy, attentive, and he won't break your heart.

Annie's boss and former one night stand does not support her idea. He is sure that "Joe" will have all the competition laughing behind their backs. The "Joe Video" idea is debated and creates a battle of the sexes for all who are involved. The only glitch is that Matt feels the sparks every time he is near Annie.

Rico, the gorgeous model who is playing Joe, thinks that by hitting on Annie, it will cement his chances in the industry. Annie is horrified by Rico's sexual advances and by his girlfriend who has threatened her with all kinds of horrible endings if Rico doesn't stop.

DREAM GUY is a debut novel for Candy Halliday. The "Joe Video" idea is fresh and new. Main characters Annie and Matt keep the sexual tension between them for the entire first half of the book. The second half puts Annie in the "male role" of sex without strings. The humor in the book comes from the working relationship of Annie and her gay coworker. Grab DREAM GUY and curl up for a great afternoon's reading of romance with a touch of humor.
