All her life, Delphine Armstrong has wanted to fit in and belong, changing who she is just so she would fit in and be accepted. So when she ends up on the run with Bradley and his mother, she works hard to become someone Bradley would want. More than anything, Delphine wants to explore her attraction to Bradley and just maybe find a family and a place she can call home. All she has to do is stay alive and help Bradley make his dream come true.
Bradley is counting on a nomination for the Country Music Awards, top debut male vocalist, to help turn his career around. Since his rock star girlfriend dumped him off in
, he ended up losing his contract with her brother-in-law's recording company, and his agent doesn't want to go the extra mile for him anymore. But Bradley is sure he will be nominated and everything will be OK. Or so he hopes, because being a country music star has not only been his dream, but his life. Now he has this fiasco of his mother's to deal with, too. A nice side benefit though is having Delphine on the ride with them, and they just might get some time alone so they can explore the attraction that's sparking between them.
