Twins Carson and Connor McCain’s penchant for sharing their woman isn’t something they’ve ever tried to keep hidden. That’s why it came as such a surprise when Tara panicked and ran from them. Since she left Chaos, they’ve kept busy working horses on the ranch they share and helping out at the family bar and grill Raising Cain. Tara’s leaving left a huge void in their lives and neither man is sure exactly how to handle her return.
Tara’s worried about the sort of reception she’ll receive from Carson and Connor but when she enters Raising Cain the only brother present is Connor. Tara swallows her fear and asks for a job. Connor isn’t about to simply allow her back into their lives, he’s got questions and expectations of her IF she truly wants help. She’s forced to reveal the circumstances that lead to her coming back with little more than the clothes on her back and a car held together with duct tape. In exchange for a job and a place to stay, Connor stipulates that she pretend she returned for the sole purpose of fixing thing with Carson. Blackmailing her doesn’t sit well with him but it’s the only thing he can think of that will ensure that she stays and that he and Carson get the chance to love her the way they would have years earlier if she hadn’t run. Since Carson is out of town it isn’t until he returns and finds Tara sitting in his kitchen that he learns of her return and he’s not very happy about it.
The last thing Carson wants is to have his heart ripped out again but even he can’t deny that he’s still very much in love with Tara. If he thinks he’s mad now just wait until he learns that Connor’s blackmailed her in their bed. Sure they both want her but Tara needs to be there of her own free will or it’s meaningless sex. Will Tara be able to convince Carson and Connor that she’s truly back in their lives because that’s what she desires – and that she’s not going to run again, no matter how difficult she still finds it being in love with both men?
Maggie Casper stories have long been a staple of many e-readers bookshelves. ENOUGH LOVE FOR TWO invites readers into the lives of Tara, Carson and Connor and their tremulous relationship. Tara’s love for the men is obvious right from the start and her confusion over that anomaly really ‘speaks’ to the reader. After all, she was lovers with Carson first, how would he feel learning that she loves his brother too? In addition to the captivating tale about this threesome, there’s another couple who really captured my interest – Carson and Connor’s baby sister Casey and her boyfriend Jared. She’s a little spitfire and Jared ‘tamed’ her so I can hardly wait for their story to come out in the next book in this series – CAPTURING CASEY’S HEART
