To Scott’s surprise, he finds inspiration in the gay swinger’s club Ganymede’s Grotto which Logan had brought him in an attempt to get him to agree to a threesome. Scott’s still not agreeable to bringing a third into their bedroom but he finds himself inexplicably drawn to the club’s bartender/stripper called Eros.
Despite their relationship being on the outs, Scott would never cheat on his partner. Until he decides to make the break from Logan he contents himself with being friends with Eros (a.k.a. Keegan Rourke). They talk, laugh, and flirt harmlessly until the sexual tension becomes too much for them to resist any longer. Scott finally makes the break from Logan but it still isn’t smooth sailing for Keegan and Scott. Scott's uncomfortable about his own dominant tendencies and Keegan has issues with love and intimacy. Will they be able to get past the fears to find happiness and lasting love with each other?
Ally Blue is one of the first gay love authors I ever read and she always gives me a reason to keep picking up each new sexy book she writes. While the storylines are passionate, there’s always an underlying current of real emotion that the reader will be able to feel. In EROS RISING you’re presented with Scott and Keegan, two men who are struggling with their own issues but find friendship and passion with each other. Their feelings scare them for completely different reasons and at times seems insurmountable. I especially love the club owner and Keegan’s father figure, Earl, who has protected Keegan when he needed it and isn’t afraid to point it out when Keegan's huge mistakes. Beautifully done Ms. Blue! I’ll be waiting to see what you come out with next.
