Michael Holliman lost his wife two years ago, when his daughter Hope was born. The only way he's been able to continue his ministry at St. Peter's is through the help and generosity of many willing substitute grandmothers, who watch over Hope while he works. However, she's turned into a spoiled nightmare, in spite of her sweet nature. He needs help with her, and the woman renting the house across the street proves a willing and able sitter. But Kirsten touches Michael's heart as well as Hope's. Can he let go of the guilt over his wife's death and let himself find love again?
FAITH, HOPE, AND CHARITY is a journey of the heart and spirit for Michael and Kirsten. They are both very endearing to the reader, and I could relate to Michael's daycare problems. There is much more to this story than the romance between the main characters. The reader gets a look into the kinds of problems and challenges ministers and teachers might face, and the ways that Michael and Kirsten overcome these obstacles. They pull the community together and find solutions.
For the lover of inspirational romance, FAITH, HOPE AND CHARITY is a treasure.
