Erickson's FALLING FOR HER HUSBAND is Vince and Amber's story and although other family members are brought in or mentioned it's not to the extent that they were in the first two books in the series. Vince and Amber didn't have as much depth as previous characters so they fell flat but they did burn up the sheets. Her parents sucked her dry both emotionally and financially because they knew what buttons to push, especially her mom who she had the most contact with. Her agent, Debbie, left me cold. She always had to be at the center of things and she did nothing but try to cause problems between Amber and her husband - almost as if she was jealous of her. Dr. Harris, Amber's therapist, took a caring approach to help her figure out the bad dreams she was having as well as try to regain her memory after the accident. There was family, heartache, secrets, anger, happiness, lots of food, romance and love. There was an epilogue that gave some closure but jumped ahead in the story too quickly and caused the book to end abruptly.
This is the third book in the RENALDI FAMILY SERIES but I'm not sure if it's the end of the series or not. There was a prequel, TEMPORARY ARRANGEMENT, which is set before the start of the series which I need to go back and read. I look forward to reading other books by Erickson outside of this series since I have not had the pleasure of doing so.
