Fated Passion

Alexia loved Robert with all her heart, but she wanted so much more then to be his lover, she wanted to be his wife. Driven by her desire to get what she wanted, she forced her hand and lost.

Robert loved Alexia, yet he knew he was not ready for marriage and he wanted to do so much more before he made her his wife. He walked away when she pushed him to move their relationship forward to marriage and he never looked back.

Maybe it was fate, maybe it was dumb luck, but fifteen years later Robert and Alexia have crossed paths again. The fire they felt for one another had never waned and now they stood facing fate for another chance at love. Can these two overcome the pain of the past and embrace the future they should have been given? Will they walk away or leave their passion up to fate?

FATED PASSION is a quick and fiery page-turner riddled with emotion that had me cheering Robert and Alexia on from the very beginning. I've said it many times in previous reviews and it bears repeating: I love a story with a past love twist. I'm a firm believer that neither time nor distance can destroy a love that is meant to be, and Ms. LaCroix delivers just that with FATED PASSION. She managed in a few short pages to have me engrossed and invested emotionally in her characters that I wanted them back together as soon as Alexia gave Robert the ultimatum.

Ms LaCroix is a writer beyond compare when it comes to novella-sized stories. Where most writers struggle to capture all that we need to know and feel in the shorter format, she always seems to excel. FATED PASSION is just another example of why Ms. LaCroix is an auto-buy author for me.
