Jake Collins had no clue that Bree was back in town until he saw her sitting in his usual booth at Sally’s Café, and the blow hit him like a ton of bricks. For the past six years Jake has managed to avoid seeing Bree on her occasional visits with her family, but there is no way he can avoid her if she is here indefinitely. Even after six years just the thought of Bree stirs Jake’s emotions; he is just not sure which emotion is the strongest, his anger or his attraction.
Once Bree is back in Chesapeake Shores she knows that this is where she belongs and Jake is the man she belongs with, if only she can convince him to let go of his anger. Bree and Jake have a lot of issues to work through but with the help of their family and friends anything is possible.
Bree’s mom and dad Mick and Megan also continue their struggle to reconcile their relationship in FLOWERS ON MAIN. Sherryl Woods has created a wonderful community that readers will quickly fall in love with. FLOWERS ON MAIN is the second book in the CHESAPEAKE SHORES series but it can definitely stand alone. Although I have no doubt that, like me, anyone who reads this story will be rushing to find the others in the series.
